Sunday School
Sunday School, for kindergarten through 6th grade, meets at 9.30 am every Sunday from September through mid-June. The children meet in separate, skill-appropriate groups for crafts and a time of learning. On the first Sunday of each month, they then join their families for the entire worship service at 10.00 am. On the other Sundays, all the children attend their own service in the Children’s Chapel, where they participate in the Liturgy of the Word and hear the Gospel preached especially for them. On these Sundays, they join their families for Communion after the Sermon.
Newcomers are welcome at any time. Baptism or prior involvement in the Episcopal Church is not required. Parents or guardians must meet with the Sunday School staff, receive a brief orientation and register new children. The Sunday School is located in the basement of the church building directly below the worship space: enter on the Webster Street side and take the stairs down to your left.
